A warm and nurturing environment for infants from 6 weeks old through to potty training. Our caregivers provide personalised attention and love for every little one.
6 weeks – Potty TrainingPlay-based learning that ignites curiosity and creativity. Our little learners explore the world through art, movement, music, and meaningful activities every day.
Ages 3 – 5From Grade R through to Grade 6, our Academy offers quality primary school education where every learner is seen, valued, and supported. Full details on curriculum, hours, and fees are on the Academy website.
Grade R – 6Hybrid physical and online tutoring for high school learners via Think Digital Academy. Full details on subjects, hours, and enrolment are available on the Smart Tutoring website.
Grade 7 – 12We are the sole provider of Music Minds SA in the Northern Cape — a scientifically designed music-based cognitive development programme that enhances memory, concentration, language, and mathematical thinking through music. It's woven into our daily curriculum from an early age, giving our learners a unique developmental edge.

From the Principal's Desk
My husband and I dreamed of starting a small preschool and aftercare centre. During the uncertainty of COVID-19, we took a leap of faith and signed a lease on a preschool property in the heart of Kuruman.
On 6 July 2020 — the very day preschools were permitted to reopen after lockdown — we opened the doors of Inside Out Kleuterskool. On that first day, my own children were essentially our only learners.
Through hard work, long hours, determination, and a lot of prayer, families slowly began placing their trust in us. By the end of 2020, we had grown to 25 learners. In 2021, we started the year with 60 learners and added another 60 before the year was over. From there, the growth never stopped.
Today, Inside Out Schools serves more than 400 learners across multiple educational divisions and three neighbouring properties in Kuruman.
In July 2023, we expanded further by launching Inside Out Academy, offering education from Grade R to Grade 7. We also introduced Inside Out Smart Tutoring, providing academic support and online schooling for learners from Grade 7 to Grade 12, currently serving 25 learners.
Education has always been my passion. Over the past six years, I have completed more than 40 courses because I firmly believe that leaders should never stop learning. In 2024, I was appointed as an independent educator for Music Minds SA in the Northern Cape. In 2026, I became the franchise owner of Abacus Maths in Kuruman.
The greatest reward is watching children grow, develop confidence, and reach milestones they never thought possible. Knowing that we play a part in shaping their future makes every challenge worthwhile.
At Inside Out Schools, we believe that exceptional customer service, strong relationships with families, and genuine care for every child are the foundation of success. That philosophy has helped us grow from a small preschool with only a handful of learners into one of the largest independent educational groups in our community.
